About me

I am a UK trained GP. I lived and worked there for about 13 years. Over the last few years, I did not feel the NHS had the best interests of the patients at heart and was increasingly moving away from the 'free at the point of entry' ethos and GPs in particular  were bearing the brunt of the criticism from patients, the press and politicians alike.

I found a place I really liked and a system that seemed to work for me in Australia.

I have a love of travel and love road trips. Australia has kindled or rather rekindled a love of photography- everywhere I look here there seems to be a photo op!
